Directions:
Prepare the Wrappers
Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese in the center.

Roll and Seal
Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides. Roll tightly toward the top corner, brushing the edge with beaten egg to seal securely. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and fillings.

Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). Test with a small piece of wrapper—it should sizzle immediately.

Fry the Egg Rolls
Carefully place a few egg rolls in the hot oil at a time, frying until golden brown and crispy on all sides (about 2–3 minutes). Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve with Dipping Sauce
Arrange the egg rolls on a serving platter and pair with your favorite dipping sauces such as soy-based dips, honey mustard, or sweet chili.
