½ C. butter
½ C. sugar
½ C. light brown sugar
½ C. peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. flour
1 ¼ C. old-fashioned rolled oats
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
¾ C. M&M’s
½ C. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream the butter and sugars together for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter and mix well. Add egg and vanilla and mix. In a separate mixing bowl, stir together the flour, oats, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and combine. Stir in the chocolate chips and M&M’s. Use a 1-inch cookie scoop and bake cookies for 10-12 minutes. Do not over bake. The cookies will look like they are just set. Remove cookies from the oven and allow them to cool completely on the pan.
