4 cups corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese (optional, for topping)
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 2-quart baking dish.
Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the corn kernels, heavy cream, milk, flour, sugar, melted butter, beaten eggs, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg (if using). Stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the corn mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Add Cheese (Optional): If desired, sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top of the corn mixture.
Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the corn is set and the top is lightly golden and bubbly.
Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
