5 15 oz cans pork & beans
1 large onion
1-2 T. butter
3/4 c. ketchup
3 T. yellow mustard
1/2 c. molasses, unsulphured
¼-½ c. brown sugar
6-8 slices bacon, uncooked

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325º. Sauté onions (yellow or sweet) over medium-high heat in butter until onions are tender and translucent. Mix beans, ketchup, mustard, molasses, and brown sugar in your baking dish. Add sauteed onions and mix well. Top with bacon in a single layer. Bake on the middle rack of your oven uncovered for 2-3 hours. Beans are ready when the top is dark and caramelized.
