1 pound Conecuh sausage
One small head of green cabbage
One sweet Vidalia onion
One small green bell pepper
One small, red bell pepper
2 tablespoons bacon grease
4 cups chicken broth
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cut sausage into small penny size pieces.
Clean and chop up cabbage, onion, and bell peppers.
In a large heavy pot, add sausage and brown.
Remove sausage from pot set aside.
Add bacon, grease to pot. Add cabbage, onion and bell peppers and stirfry till wilted.
Add sausage back to the pot. Add 4 cups of chicken broth to the pot. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.
Turn Fire to low and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Served with cornbread. Makes a great winter meal. This is better the next day.
