Pizza Crust


Ingredients:

1 c. very warm water
1 heaping tbsp. yeast (2 pkgs)
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 ½ c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar, salt and oil. Mix into flour and knead thoroughly. Let rise for 15 minutes. Spread out on a greased pizza pan or cookie sheet with sides. Prick all over with a fork. Add a small amount of olive oil on top and spread it around.
 

Pizza Topping

4-6 tomatoes, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1-2 cups each, cheddar & mozzarella
salt and pepper
ground thyme

Directions:
Directions:
Add garlic, salt and pepper to the tomatoes. Mix well and let sit for five minutes. Pour tomato mixture, including the juice, on top of the crust and spread evenly. Add the cheese and then sprinkle generously with ground thyme. Bake at 400º for 18-22 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
