2 cans chick peas rinsed and drained
2 whole Bay Leaves
3c diced carrots
2 slices and washed leeks
2 sliced onions
3T each olive oil and butter
1/2c fennel sliced
6 cloves garlic minced
1bag spinach
1/4t red chili flakes
6c water or broth

Directions:
Directions:
In a good heavy pot put the oil putting in the leeks after all the water is gone start them on medium heat adding the fennel and onions along with the garlic, celery and carrots,chick peas get them half done cooking then add the broth or water and the bay leaves. Taste for salt and pepper then adding the butter and chili flakes check the water to before adding the spinach make sure there is broth. Cook til spinach is welted.
