Bread
2 cups shifted Flour
4 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Sugar
6 Tablespoons Shortening
1 tablespoon grated Orange Rind
2/3 cup Milk

Orange Frosting.
1 tablespoon Butter
1 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
1/4 cup Orange Juice

Mix All ingredients until well combined.

-Add all Dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl and stir till blended.
-Cut in Shortening until mix is in peas size. Add Orange rind and milk stirring until flour is dampened.
-Knead lightly on floured surface for about 1 minute.
-Roll into a rectangle. cut into 1/2 in strips and braid 3 strips together. cut into 2 1/2 inch length.
-Bake at 450 degrees for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
-while warm frost with an orange frosting and serve.
