4 cups rolled whole oats, packed
1 cup almonds, whole
½ cup walnuts, chopped
½ cup flax seeds, can substitute ground flax
½ tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. Chinese 5-spice, jump up to 2 teaspoons if you want more fragrence/spice!
1 tsp,. allspice
¼ cup dark brown sugar, can substitute coconut sugar
4 tbsp. butter, melted (vegans can use nondairy butter)
⅓ cup coconut oil, microwave into liquid if solid
3 tbsp. maple syrup
1 cup dried cranberries
½ cup diced dates
½ cup cacao nibs
1 cup shredded sweetened coconut, can substitute unsweetened
2 tsp. sea salt flakes

In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, almonds, walnuts, flax seeds, salt, spices and brown sugar. Toss well with your CLEAN hands.

In another small microwavable cup, combine the butter, coconut oil, maple syrup and microwave about 20 seconds or until melted. Pour over the dry mixture and blend well coating everything thoroughly. You're basically "massaging" the oils into the dry ingredients.

Spread on 2 parchment paper lined cookie sheets and bake in a preheated 300 oven about 20-24 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove and put in a bowl. Add the cranberries and dates. Toss to blend.

Let mixture cool and add in the cacao nibs, coconut and toss. Add the sea salt flakes. Toss and blend.
