1 1/2 cup whole milk
1 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
3 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together and place 1/2 of the batch in the ice cream maker. Place the other half in the refrigerator until the first batch is done. Then move the refrigerated batter quickly into the ice cream maker to make the second batch. Follow directions for the ice cream maker (25-30 minutes to set up).

Place in freezer container and freeze overnight for best outcome.

You can add a layer of parchment paper on the top to keep crystals from forming on the ice cream surface.

If you want to use "add ins" add them during the last 5 minutes of the ice cream making cycle. Possible add ins? 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips, etc.
