24 tomatillos

10-12 jalapenos

10 cloves garlic

Directions:
Peel the tomatillos and wash along with the jalapenos. Boil both together with garlic in a small amount of water and when done, let cool briefly. Place in blender along with salt and cilantro and blend.

This is our favorite topping for cheese enchiladas. Put the cheese in a warm corn tortilla and microwave until cheese is melty. Spoon over warm salsa verde and top with garnishment (i.e. cilantro, grated cheese, onions), and serve with rice and beans.
