3 c. diced cooked beets
1 c. liquid (beet juice and water)
3 T. flour (I use cornstarch)
2 T. sugar
1 tsp. salt (I don’t add that anymore)
dash of pepper
⅓ c. of vinegar


Directions:
Directions:
Heat together beets and liquid. Mix together flour (or cornstarch), sugar, salt, pepper, and vinegar. Cook, stirring constantly, until smoothly blended and thickened.
