1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
¼ cup Fresh Basil Pesto
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Strawberry Dark Balsamic Vinegar (optional for drizzling)
Salt and pepper to taste

Wash and slice the strawberries.

Slice the mozzarella cheese into approximately the same size as the strawberry slices.

On a large platter, alternately layer the sliced strawberries and mozzarella cheese, slightly overlapping each piece for a pleasing presentation.

Drizzle Basil Pesto over the layered strawberries and mozzarella.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves scattered over the top.

If desired, add a drizzle of balsamic glaze for an extra layer of flavor.

Season lightly with salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste.
