1½ c raisins or currants
4 tbsp butter
2 eggs
2 c brown sugar
2 tsp rum or rum extract
Chopped nuts
Pie pastry

Directions:
Directions:
1. Soak raisins till plump.
2. Cream butter, then add eggs and brown sugar, beat until foamy.
3. Add extract, nuts and raisins.
4. Pour into unbaked shells and bake 375º for 15-20 min or until browned.
5. Cool on wire rack, and enjoy even more the day after!

These tarts are the most snuck, stolen and loved in history! Heidi and Alex would have them in the freezer at the lake, where they would mysteriously evaporate!
