2 Sweet potatoes
¼ oz Sage, fresh chopped
2 T Maple syrup
2 T Sour cream
2 T Butter, softened
1 tsp Garlic powder
Salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and dice sweet potatoes into ½-inch cubes. Put in a medium pot with enough salted water to cover potatoes by 2-inches. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Drain potatoes and return to pot. Cover to keep warm.

Make maple sage butter: In a bowl combine the butter with half the maple syrup, half the garlic powder, 1 tsp of the chopped sage, and pepper.

In the pot with sweet potatoes add half the maple sage butter, sour cream, remaining sage and garlic powder. Mash potatoes until smooth adding desired salt and pepper.

Top mashed sweet potatoes with remaining maple sage butter.
