1.5 loaves french or sandwich bread (I like to use 1 loaf french and 1/2 wheat)
5 stalks celery
1/2 medium onion
1/2 - 1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup butter

1 tsp rubbed sage
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp gr. nutmeg
1/4 tsp onion powder

2.5 +/- cups chicken broth

Directions:

Break apart bread into chunks or cut it into 1" cubes. Let dry overnight.

Dice onion. Melt butter and add onion and shredded carrots to soften.

Mix all ingredients, place in 9x13 and bake at 350F oven for 45-60 minutes.
