1½ lbs. Salmon, fillets
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup Soy Sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar (substitute and use honey)
1 tsp. lemon pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup olive oil
1/3 cup water


Note: Top with brown sugar after grilled. NO GRILL - IT'S OKAY - BAKE THIS FOR 15-20 MINUTES ON 425º.

Mix all of ingredients and marinate salmon or other fish for at least four or more hours. The longer the better.

1) In a small bowl, stir together lemon pepper, garlic, salt, soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and oil until sugar is dissolved.
2) Place fish in a large reusable plastic bag.
3) Pour soy sauce mixture over fish and seal bag. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
4) Lightly oil grill grate or PLANK THIS IT ADDS MORE FLAVOR and preheat grill for medium heat.
5) Place salmon on the preheated grill; discard marinade.
6) Cook salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.


Note: Serve with a side of roasted potatoes, cilantro rice, asparagus, or ?

My family loves this recipe. This marinade adds a lot of flavor to the fish. I really struggle with cooking fish that's not fried. You'll find this recipe soooo amazing.
