1 cup cooked wild rice
2 cooked chicken breasts
1/4 cup butter
2 cups diced celery
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup shredded carrots
8 oz fresh sliced mushrooms
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1/4 tsp. kitchen bouquet
1 1/2 tsp. nature's seasoning
5 1/2 tsp. chicken base
1 1/4 cup flour
6 cups cold water
2 1/4 cup heavy cream
slivered, blanched almonds, optional (I add approx 1/2 cup)

Directions:
In large saucepan, melt butter and saute celery, onion, carrots, spices, seasonings, and chicken base until vegetables are tender. When vegetables are almost done, add mushrooms and saute 5 minutes more.
Slowly add flour and water until flour is mixed well into vegetable mixture. Continue to stir until mixture has no flour lumps. Add chicken and rice and heat until soup registers 180º on thermometer. Add cream and return soup to 180º. Add almonds if desired.
