Personal Notes:
This is very rich. A small serving is plenty. This was a recipe from Kay Swindall, the mother of a friend of mine, and one of my mother's good friends. When she made it, I think it was the first time I had ever tasted dates and I thought it was very exotic. She gave the recipe to my mother who cooked at at Christmas.
