1 9-inch graham cracker crumb crust
1 8 oz. package of softened cream cheese
1 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling, chilled

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixer bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Stir in the lemon juice and vanilla. Pour into crust. Chill 3 hours until set. When ready to serve, spoon cherry pie filling on top.

I prepared and tasted this pie when the recipe first came out in the 1960s while living at Dana King Gatchell Hall (Dorm 12) at Auburn University. It is very sweet and rich so small pieces are adequate to serve.
