1/4 tsp. salt
5 T. cold butter cut into cubes
3 T. shortening

3-5 Tbs. ice water

Directions:
Directions:
In a food processor, blend the flour and salt. Add the butter and shortening; pulse until coarse crumbs form. Add 3 to 5 tablespoons of ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, pulsing after each addition, just until large moist crumbs form. Pour out and with your hands, shape the dough into a disk; wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 30 minutes or overnight. If chilled overnight, let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before rolling.
