1 c sugar
3 tbsp cocoa
3 tbsp corn starch
2 c milk
¼ c butter
1tsp vanilla
3 egg yolks

Directions:
Directions:
1. Precook pie shell as per directions and cool.
2. Mix sugar cornstarch and cocoa with 1/2 milk. Whisk till smooth
3. Add the remaining ingredients and warm on med heat until thick and boiling begins
4. Serve warm as pudding or in prepared pie shell . This will remain smooth even after refrigerating.
Pie and Meringue:
5. Put whites on high in mixer for 2.5 minutes, add 1/3 cup sugar and mix on high another 2.5 minutea until forms stiff peaks.
6. Fill pie with chocolate custard, cover with meringue, covering all custard and forming multiple peaks .
7. Cook on broil - carefully just until top peaks brown - *Don't leave unattended
