1 small cabbage chopped
1 sweet onion
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 c mayonnaise
1/2 stick butter melted

salt and pepper to taste

TOPPING
1 stalk(s) Ritz crackers
one c cheese
1 stick butter melted
How to Make Cabbage Casserole

Directions:
Directions:
Place coarsely chopped cabbage in a casserole dish. No need to grease pan.
Layer coarsely chopped onion on top of cabbage. Salt and pepper the onion and cabbage.
Mix the soup, mayonnaise, and butter together and place on top of the onion/cabbage. Spread lightly. Don't mix.
Mix the topping ingredients in a separate bowl and sprinkle over the top.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes. Top should be golden brown.
