Ingredients:
Ingredients:
½ cup margarine
½ cup brown sugar
¾ cup white sugar
⅛ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ½ cups flour
20 to 25 Cherries & 20 to 25 Chocolate Bits (stuff chocolate bits into cherries)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F.

Cream sugar and margarine well. Add vanilla, flour and salt. Mix well. Chill dough

Stuff each cherry with a chocolate chip, then wrap in 1 teaspoon dough.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool.

Melt 1 cup chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler over low heat or in the microwave, and dip top of cookies in melted chocolate.

These are awesome, interesting cookies. You may have to add more maraschino cherry juice to get a good dough consistency. Make sure the dough is cold when you're wrapping it around the cherries, definitely makes it easier! Also if you want them to stay in a ball shape, cook them in the mini cupcake trays.
