2 cups all-purpose flour
1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch salt
1 cup chocolate chips
2 cups bananas, 2-3 bananas, ripe, mashed
1⁄2 cup butter, melted
1⁄4 cup milk
2 eggs

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add chocolate chips.
In a separate bowl, whisk together bananas, butter, milk and eggs; pour over flour mixture and stir
just until blended. Spread in greased 9- x 5-inch (2 L) loaf pan.
Bake in center of oven at 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes
out clean.
Let cool in pan on a cooling rack for 15 minutes. Turn loaf out onto rack; let cool completely.

Option: Add ¾ c chopped walnuts
For more fiber, mix the flour so it’s half white, half wheat.
Bread can be frozen and thawed with no loss to its deliciousness.
