1 ½ lbs. Ground Meat (turkey or lamb)
2 slices wheat bread
¼ c. seasoned bread crumbs
1 large egg
¼ red onion chopped
2 cloves minced garlic
1 TBSP oregano
2 TBSP fresh chopped spearmint
¼ c. fresh parsley
salt and pepper
olive oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Wet bread with water and squeeze out. Tear bread into tiny pieces and put in a large bowl. Add in the ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, mint, parsley, oregano, salt and pepper. Form into balls.

Fry meatballs about 5 minutes until cooked through. Alternatively, bake meatballs at 350º for 20-25 minutes.
