Ingredients: PATTIES: 1 ½ lb. ground beef 1 egg yolk ⅓ c. Panko bread crumbs 3 TBSP milk salt and pepper to taste
SAUCE: 8 oz. sliced mushrooms ½ sliced/diced onion 1 ½ c. beef broth (low sodium) 1 package brown gravy mix (dry) 2 TBSP fresh parsley 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce 2 TBSP corn starch 4 TBSP water

Directions:Place onions and mushrooms in the bottom of Instant Pot.
Combine the beef patty ingredients and form into 6 patties. Brown in a skillet for 3 minutes on each side.
Layer the patties over the mushrooms and onions in the Instant Pot. In a separate bowl combine all remaining ingredients (except water and cornstarch). Mix and then pour over the patties in the Instant Pot. Cook on high pressure for 18 minutes.
Quick release. Remove the patties from Instant Pot and set on a plate. Turn the Instant Pot to sautee. In a small bowl combine the cold water and cornstarch. Stir this into broth and let cook a few minutes until gravy thickens. Coat patties with gravy and serve with rice or mashed potatoes. |
