1 cup brown sugar
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Mix everything together. Press into a greased 8"x8" pan. Bake 10 minutes in hot (350º?) oven. Cut into squares and leave in the pan until cool.
This was another of the "old time recipes" will update once I try them and see if 350 is the correct temp for a "hot" oven.
