1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons strawberry jello gelatin dessert (Krogers)
1 cup water

Put on stove on medium heat, stir frequently, bring to a good hard boil, take off and let cool to warm temperature. I feel pan and if feels warm but not hot I pour slowly over strawberries in baked pie shell, be sure and get all strawberries coated with the mixture. While mixture is cooling I wash strawberries and put on towel to dry before putting in pie shell. If mixture gets too cool it won't pour over strawberries very well. Refrigerate pie to set.
