1 1/2 cups water
1 cup whole milk
8 oz weighed macaroni (Barilla brand has ridges)
deli american cheese for the creamy ( not sliced)
extra sharp cheddar for the flavor

1/3 cup panko
1 T olive oil
2 T Parmesan

Directions:
Directions:
Heat water and milk till you start to see small bubbles
Add noodles and bring to a simmer then turn heat to med low and cook to just past al dente,
about 6 to 8 minutes.
add a little cayanne pepper
1/2 tsp a little dejon mustard
Add 1 cup grated deli American
Remove from heat before adding 1 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese
Cover and let cheddar melt slowly

Toast panko in olive oil
after removing from heat, add Parmesan cheese
sprinkle pasta with toasted panko when serving
