1. Condensed milk 1 tin
2. Milk ¾ cup
3. Oil ¾ cup
4. Castor sugar 6 tbsp
5. Maida 225 gms/2 cups
6. Conflour ½ cup
7. Baking powder 2 tsp
8. Baking soda 1 tsp
9. Soda water ½ cup
10. Vanilla essence 2 tsp

1. Preheat the oven at 150 c.
2. Sieve the dry ingredients
3. Beat sugar and condensed milk together. Gradually add oil.
4. Mix half the dry ingredients to the oil mixture. Add half the milk. Add vanilla essence. Add the remaining dry ingredients and milk and mix well.
5. Add soda water and mix well
6. Immediately transfer to a greased tin
7. Bake at 180c for 30 - 35 minutes.
