8 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 Cup light-brown sugar
1 1/2 Cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 Cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the oven to 325º. Melt the butter in a large sauce pan over low heat. Stir in the sugar until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool. Butter 9" square baking pan. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Beat the eggs one at a time into the sugar mixture. Beat in the vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture gradually. Stir in the pecans. Pour into the prepared pan and bake until blondies come away from the sides of the pan, 50-60 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.

These butterscotch-flavored brownies are always a hit. These keep well for days in an airtight container, and you can also freeze them.
