2 cans sweet potatoes (tall cans) drained and warmed
1/2 of butter, softened
1/2 cup of sugar
2 eggs beaten
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/3 cup milk

Topping
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. Drain potatoes heat in microwave in glass bowl for 6 minutes. Mash well the potatoes add softened butter along with the sugar eggs and vanilla and milk mix with handmixer Until smooth. Pour this mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish.

In a Heavy sauce Pan Bring cream and butter to simmer add brown sugar and cook until dissolved. Continue cooking this mixture over medium heat until it reaches softball stage on a candy thermometer. Move from heat add in the pecans pour this mixture over the dish bake until very hot and bubbly you can bake extra long for a crunchy praline topping .
