Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 500º. Remove tenderloin from refrigerator and season meat with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Place seasoned meat in an uncovered roasting pan on a lower shelf of the oven. Roast exactly 5 1/2 minutes per pound. Turn off oven and do not open the oven door for 45 minutes to 1 hour until a meat thermometer registers 145 -150º. Remove pork from the oven and lightly cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes. The roast will be done and reach a safe 155 -160º, very slightly pink in the center and very moist.
