8oz dried medium shell macaroni
1 cup onion (Vidalia), diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon butter
1 (16oz) pkg beef hot dogs, halved lengthwise and sliced
1 1/2 cups purchased spaghetti sauce
1 large tomato, chopped
1 (4oz) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 (8oz) carton dairy sour cream
2oz provolone cheese, shredded (1/2 cup)
2oz mozzarella cheese, shredded (1/2 cup)

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Prepare macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet cook onion and garlic in hot butter over medium heat until nearly tender (be careful not to burn the garlic as it gets very bitter if overcooked). Stir in the hot dogs and cook until lightly browned. Stir in spaghetti sauce, tomato and mushrooms. Bring to boiling. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream and half of the cheeses. Stir mixture into drained pasta. Spoon into a 2-quart casserole.
Cover and bake about 30 minutes or until hot. Uncover and sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Bake, uncovered, 5 minutes more or until the cheese melts.
