3 C. all-purpose white flour
2¼ C. Sugar
1½ tsp. salt
1½ tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
1½ tsp. almond extract
1½ tsp. butter flavoring
1½ C. 2% milk
1⅓ C. liquid vegetable oil
1½ T. poppy seeds

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º F. Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl, then add liquid ingredients, beating until all is well blended.
2. Pour into two greased 9 X 5 loaf pans.
3. Bake for 60 minutes until golden brown and tooth-pick inserted in top venter is clean, not doughy.
4. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans.

This is the best poppy seed bread. It's really good to serve as an accompaniment to fresh fruit; it makes your breakfast something to behold!

Many celebrities from all over the world have graced the inner walls of this enchanting place. Some include Lawrence Welk, Harry James, Tommy Dorsey, Clark Gable, Mae West, Jack Dempsey, Betty Grable and Gregory Peck. The guest books are kept since the beginning of it's operation and are fasinating to look at. You might even find the names of Larry and Marj Moritz's names among the famous! Oh, did I mention that the food is simply devine!
