2 1/2 to 3 lb.chicken fryer
1 can undiluted cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups reserved chicken broth
1 stick margarine, melted
1 cup self-rising flour
l tsp. salt

Cook chi€ken until tender (pressure cooker speeds time). Remove meat from bones. Reserve broth. Cut chicken into small pieces and place in a greased, 9" x 13" x 2" pan. ln
a saucepan mix the reserved chicken broth and soup and bring to a boil. ln another bowl, combined melted margarine, pepper, salt, flour and buttermilk, Mix thoroughly to form a batter. Pour broth mixture over chicken. Spoon batter over top. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes (or until topping browns).
