18 oz. cooked, diced potatoes
18 oz. cooked, chicken
white pepper
onion salt
2 cups chicken broth
2-1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon chicken base (this is a paste)
1/2 cup flour
4 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
pie crust to cover 6 individual casseroles
paprika

Directions:

Mix together chicken, potatoes, onion salt and pepper to taste. Set aside. For gravy, mix together and bring to a boil chicken broth, 2-1/2 cups water, chicken base and a dash of white pepper. In a bowl or jar, combine cornstarch and cold water, mixing well until smooth and shiny. While whisking, pour into chicken broth mixture slowly, then whisk 2 minutes more. Add chicken and potatoes. Mix well. Divide the filling into 6 individual casseroles, reserving some to top pies before serving. Cover with pastry crust. Score the pastry with a fork. Sprinkle lightly with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Ladle remaining filling over tops.
