MEATLOAF: One cup soft breadcrumbs (2 slices
1/2 cup applesauce
1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon dried celery flakes, optional
1 teaspoon Dijon style mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
SAUCE: Half a cup of applesauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon style mustard

Directions:

Combine breadcrumbs with the first half cup applesauce. Add beef, egg, onion, celery flakes, 1 teaspoon mustard, salt and a dash of pepper. Blend thoroughly. Shape into a round loaf in a 9 x 9 x 2" baking pan. With the ball of spoon, make at the pression in top of meatloaf. Combine sauce ingredients. Pour into depression and meatloaf. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour
