1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
5-7 slices pineapple (1 lb. 4 oz. can)
Maraschino cherries (optional)
1 package white or yellow cake mix (pineapple flavor is best)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, brown sugar and 2 Tablespoons of pineapple syrup in large cast iron skillet. Remove from heat and arrange pineapple and cherries in mixture.
Prepare batter as directed on cake package. Use pineapple syrup in batter for water. Pour over mixture in skillet. Bake in a preheated oven of 350* for 40-45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Invert on plate. Allow 3-6 minutes before removing pan. Serve warm with whipped cream.
