1 c. quick oats
1 c. milk (scalded)
1 c. water
3 Tbs. shortening
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 pkg. yeast in 1/3 c. warm water
flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix & let stand 10 minutes. Knead 8 - 10 minutes. Let rise until doubled. Turn out & let stand 10 minutes. Shape into balls or loaves. Let double and bake at 350º.
