1-1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
3 eggs
1-1/2 c. sour or buttermilk
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
2-1/4 c. sifted flour
1-1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. cocoa
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Sift flour, cocoa, soda and salt together. Add to sugar mixture alternately with milk, vanilla, and lastly well beaten eggs. Bake at 350º until done.
