1 c. butter, softened (not melted)
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 - 3.4 oz. box vanilla instant pudding (I have also used chocolate instant pudding instead.)
2-1/4 c. flour
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350º. Beat butter, sugar, & brown sugar. Scrape bowl. Add one egg at a time & mix well. Add soda, vanilla, & pudding mix. Beat until well blended. Scrape bowl. Add flour. Mix well. Add chocolate chips. Stir until well blended with spoon. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes.
