Personal Notes:
My Grandma Slaughter knew that this meal was one of my favorites when we went over to her house for dinner and I am so grateful that I have it in my recipe book. Every time I make it, it reminds me of my grandma. It also reminds me of my Papa Dee, because he loved to eat everything my grandma made, and she usually served several different sides with her main course. My Papa would take a bite of rigatoni, and before he had finished that bite, he would take a bite of his salad, a bite of his vegetables, and take a drink of water before taking his next bite of rigatoni.
