4 (4 ounce) links sweet Italian sausage
Cooked Rotini pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 sweet onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ large red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
½ cup white wine

Directions:
Directions:
Place the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, and brown on all sides. Remove from skillet, and set aside.

Add the olive oil to the skillet. Stir in the onion and cook 4 min. Add the bell pepper and stir, cover but leave a gap of about an inch on one side, cook another 5-6 min.

Stir in the garlic, basil, and oregano. Stir in white wine and butter. Slice the sausage and return the slices and all juices to skillet with the vegetables.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 10 minutes, or until sausage is cooked through. Stir the cooked pasta into the pan and serve

Tim absolutely loved this! I even liked it and I'm not a fan of sausage and onions. It was really easy to make and I think he liked the leftovers even better than fresh.
