Dough
- Mashed potatoes (works better with day old mashed potatoes, a great way to use up leftovers!)
- Flour
- 2 eggs

Filling
- 1 pkg minced meat (beef or chicken)
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 can tomato paste
- Salt & pepper to taste

- 2 pkgs mushroom gravy

Other
- Breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying

Directions:

Dough
Place mashed potatoes in a bowl and make a divot in center. Add two eggs and hand kneed. Add flour as you kneed until dough is no longer sticky. Set aside.

Filling
In a fry pan, cook meat and onions until fully cooked, drain excess oil from pan. Stir in tomato paste and the mushroom gravy, adding a little water to thin out the mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Bringing it all together
Place some dough in hands, flatten and add mixture to center. Roll dough over until entire patty is covered with potato dough. Roll patty in breadcrumbs and fry in oil until lightly browned.

Tip: Wet hands when closing the dough if dough isn't sticking together
