1 pouch Betty Crocker™ double chocolate chunk cookie mix
1 TBSP water
1 egg
⅔ c. pecans, chopped, optional
12 large marshmallows, cut in half

FROSTING:
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips (6 oz.)
⅓ c. whipping cream
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ c. powdered sugar (confectioners' sugar)

Heat oven to 350º.

In a large bowl, stir cookie mix, water, egg and pecans if using until soft dough forms. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheets, place cookie dough 2 inches apart. Bake 7 minutes.

Remove from oven. While cookies are warm place 1 marshmallow half lightly, cut side down, on top of cookie. Bake 1 to 2 minutes longer or just until marshmallows begin to soften.

Cool cookies for 2 minutes and then remove from baking sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.

Melt chocolate chips in a small sauce pan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and add whipping cream, butter and vanilla. Mix well and then stir in powdered sugar until smooth.

Spread frosting over each cooled cookie, covering marshmallow.

Let stand until frosting is set.
