8 slices thick cut Texas toast bread
4 eggs
¼ c. milk
½ tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. cinnamon, ground
2 TBSP. sugar
4 TBSP. butter
syrup --- maple, pecan or butter-flavored, etc.

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl combine cinnamon and sugar.

In separate bowl whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla. Add cinnamon mixture. Pour combined mix into shallow container. Dip bread in mixture.

In a frying pan, melt 1 tablespoon butter and fry each slice of bread until golden brown on each side.

Serve with warm syrup.
