1 ½ c. sugar
1 ½ c. brown sugar
4 eggs
1 c. oil
⅔ c. water
2 c. pumpkin

Sift together the following:
5 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour

Preheat oven to 350º.

Combine together the sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and oil. Mix in the sifted ingredients. Then mix in the water and pumpkin.

Place wax paper or parchment paper in the bottom of 4 greased and floured small loaf pans.

Pour mix into the pans until each is about half full. Bake at 350º for about 1 to 1 ½ hours. Cool and then remove from pans.

You can add chopped pecans or walnuts if desired. To grease and flour a pan: Use butter or shortening and wipe a thin layer on bottom and all inside walls of the pan. Sprinkle in flour and coat over the butter/shortening. Empty out excess flour.
