½ c. butter, softened
⅓ c. sugar
1 c. flour
⅓ c. pecans, chopped
½ tsp. salt

FILLING:
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar less 3 TBSP
2 eggs
½ tsp. vanilla extract
½ tsp. almond extract
1 pint sour cream

Preheat oven to 350º.

For the crust: Mix the butter and sugar until fluffy. Stir in flour, salt and nuts. Spread evenly on bottom of a 9-inch spring form pan. Bake 20 minutes.

For the filling:
Beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Add remaining filling ingredients (except sour cream) and beat until smooth with mixer. Gently fold in sour cream but do not use mixer on the sour cream. Fill the pie crust and bake 30 minutes. Turn oven off. Let cheesecake stand in the oven for another 30 minutes before chilling in the refrigerator.
